Mahzad Malekizadeh received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Control Engineering. Her undergraduate research encompassed classical and modern control theory, industrial communication networks, electrical system modeling, and programmable logic controller (PLC)-based supervisory systems. She is currently pursuing the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics and Electrical Machines. Her research interests include the modeling and control of power electronic converters, microgrids, distributed energy resources, intelligent and robust control of power systems, and energy management in hybrid energy systems.
